지역청년 10개월 간 100만원 저축때 시 100만원 추가제공, 총 610명 대상 참여자 모집…24일∼2월2일 온라인 접수

올해 모집 인원은 610명으로 7기 500명보다 2년 연속 확대됐다.

이 사업은 19~39세 근로 청년이 매월 10만원씩 10개월간 100만원을 저축하면, 광주시가 청년에게 100만원을 지원해 총 200만원의 만기금과 이자를 마련할 수 있는 광주시의 대표적인 청년 금융 자산 형성 지원 사업이다.

지난해 참여자 610명 중 593명이 11억8600만원(만기율 97.2%)의 만기금을 수령했다. 또한, 단계별 금융 역량강화 프로그램에 참여했던 청년들은 재무 관리, 지출 습관 개선 등에 높은 만족도를 보였다.
